Last night I tweeted about these adorable bento lunch boxes that Mena Trott creates for her daughter Penelope. Even though I'm a little older than Penelope (ok, much MUCH much older) I wish someone would whip up star shaped rice balls & fish shaped pieces of cheese for me. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening anytime soon so I guess I'll just have to make them myself! I foresee a trip to Daiso very, very soon ;)

LOL...for a while, I was also happily googling all blogsites for bento boxes. Some people are just so creative! but SO much work! maybe when I have kids...:p
it is a lot of work isn't it? hehehe. i definitely don't think i can muster the creativity (& time) to do one everyday but i do i think they're a fabulous way to dress up a meal once in awhile with just little touches here & there. i'm dropping by daiso today so we'll see if i pick up anything ;)
