Succulents Sahaja

A recent recce trip for an event to Cameron Highlands reawakened my love for succulents, especially the type that look like blooming flowers like the ones pictured above. These might make an appearance at the Markets this Saturday by the way, so stay tuned for an update!

I think my heart did a little pirouette when I saw this adorable wearable posy that came with a little tutorial. You know me… I love flowers & the fact that these are meant to be worn like a necklace is just fabulous.

Rebus Valentine

I love, love, love this simple Valentine’s card that you can download & print for free over at Martha Stewart’s Craft Department blog. According to the description, it incorporates old fashioned rebuses & if you’re like me & went “huh?? What the heck is a rebus?” I looked it up on Wikipedia: “a rebus is an allusional device that uses pictures to represent words or parts of words.” Well, isn’t that nifty? Don’t forget to print this out for your Valentine dears!

DIY: Love Notes

With Valentine’s day just around the corner, I’m sure many of you are scrambling (or at least will be scrambling) looking for that perfect little love token for your loved ones. I like to make my man a simple handmade card & this little number pictured above is right up my alley. Here’s the tutorial.

Qais’ Dino Party!

Hey dreamers! Here are some pictures from the event I styled & what kept me away from the blog for a solid two weeks. The 6 year old birthday boy loves dinosaurs, so his Mummy Rozaila & I came up with a green & blue polka dot theme with dinos (of course) for his birthday party at Bangsar Shopping Center’s Jungle Gym. It was such a pleasure working on this event as Rozaila trusted me implicitly & if you’ve ever had to work with someone, you’d know that trust makes any sort of work that much easier!
