Annual Pilgrimage
As some of you may already know, I was away for on my annual shopping pilgrimage in Bangkok, Thailand. This time I went with 2 of my shopaholic girlfriends, Yan and Mimi. We shopped from morning till evening, had a massage every night and ate wonderful Thai food wherever we went which we finished off with a kebab from around the corner before going to bed. Bliss!
We really had a blast and the best part was that we didn't have to pay for excess luggage by the miracle of God PLUS we weren't stopped by the customs officer even though our trolleys were piled high with luggage and neon colored bags that practically screamed "CHECK ME!"
Ahhhhh.... I needed a huge dose of retail therapy and I think I got it in spades! Hehehe.
Anyways, I have a few updates to post up so stay tuned k? It'll be up real soon. Oh and before I forget, thanks for all your emails ladies! You're all oh-so-wonderfully patient with me :)

Blok On Light Blok!
I'm sooooo excited! I'm getting a custom made Light Blok (check out more samples here, here and here) from Syamly of Blok On. I've been a fan of Syamly's pictures on Flickr since last year so imagine my delight when I found out that he's been making all sorts of handcrafted goodness like signs, clocks, badges and pendants on top of the light box I instantly gravitated to.
Syamly responded super-fast to my Flickr mail query and I'm contemplating on font right now although I definitely want my Light Blok to read "Mimpi" (of course!) and I want it in PINK. I'm such a girly girl.
Hmmmm, I wonder if the Light Blok takes energy saving bulbs?
Find more Blok On products at the Cuppacakes and +Wondermilk stores.

Dive Right In
Just wanted to share with you a GIF i found on FFFFOUND! Dive right in (pun intended) and check out the site's amazing treasury of images contributed by people from all around the world. It's mostly modern stuff which doesn't usually rock my boat but there are a few vintage and funny ones out there so if you're like me (in love with cute kitsch and vintage designs), you won't be disappointed.
Let's Exchange Links
Do you have a craft or a blog shop and/or website? Want to exchange links? Let's do it!
Thanks for linking to Mimpi!
(Psst... don't forget to check back every now and then for my latest button designs! I'm really fickle)
You can copy and paste the image above or from my Flickr. Please don't forget to link it to the Mimpi homepage at http://www.mimpimurni.blogspot.com.

Keep It Under Wraps
Furoshiki is ingenious. It's a great way to transport stuff by wrapping it with any old cloth laying around but of course the Japanese have elevated it to a kind of art form and recently, a Japanese Minister has been promoting it to reduce waste. Yup folks, it's all about going green.
I spied the diagram above at angry chicken's blog and immediately downloaded the PDF for myself. I've been doing the "4 tie wrap" for yonks without knowing it's actually Furoshiki... and I thought I was so clever!

After Bijou Bazaar
Bijou Bazaar last weekend was great! I was tied down to my little corner that I didn't have much chance to take pictures except for a few hurried snaps here and there. The pictures of my stall above were from Sunday morning right before the bazaar officially opened (it looks kinda empty after Saturday's sales). If you were there at the bazaar, I was upstairs in the room along with Pretty Nifty, Devotee, Saya Sukalah & Ngonyes Cupcakes (hi guys!). I'm still pretty pooped out but I have a nice, glow-y, feel good vibe which is a Bijou Bazaar hallmark me thinks. The next bazaar will be in August and we're heading back to Jeumpa D'ramo. Be there or be square!

Back To Reality
Well, I'm back. After working my butt off for 5 days straight at MSF and planning it for almost a year, I took a nice long holiday.
(The picture above was from my scuba diving holiday courtesy of the talented Mr Faizal Omar. Didn't bother to bring my camera or a photographer with me this time around. Hehehe).
Can't wait for my next holiday :P
Hey, did you spot me in the latest KLue magazine?? It's a little paragraph but oh what the heck right?! I'm in it!!! Woohoooo! *Big HUG for Claudia* I'm gonna go run off and scan it right NOW!
